Register and Activate your account (If you already have an account, skip to Step #5)
Registering a new account:
Step #1: Click "Register" (at the top right hand corner of the forum)
Step #2: Fill out the required info, BE CERTAIN TO SELECT THE APPROPRIATE GROUP! Select Model, Photographer, or Standard Member (if you are a makeup artist, agent, etc you must choose standard member for now, other sections may be added in the future).
Step #3: Fill out BOTH the captcha and security question (necessary to stop spam bots).
Step #4: check your email account and click the activation link (be sure to add
to your friends list to avoid being caught as spam)Step #5: Login to your account (top right hand corner of the forum).
Step #6: Click on "User Control Panel" (top left of the forum) then click on the "Profile" tab.
Step #7: Under "Edit Profile" fill out all of your information. (In that same area you can upload an avatar, create a signature, etc).
Adding your portfolio:
Step #8: In the Profile area you are currently on, select "Edit Photographer info" (or model info)" and fill out ALL of the information. ALL fields are required, so for things like Fax number for photographers, just enter 000-000-0000 if it does not apply. ATTN: Models some of your information is not published and is only there to be able to distinguish fraud accounts (like dating sites etc). Don't worry, we are not selling your information to telemarketers.. lol If you do not see a model or photographer option, then you must have accidentally selected the wrong usergroup during registration (you can change usergroups after you have activated your account) by going to: Control Panel---->Usergroups--->change usergroup.
Step #9: NOTE: for this step please use images in jpg format only and PLEASE re-size them to be no bigger than 1024 pixels max (on either side). Go to "Manage Gallery", IGNORE the "Send activation request." link for right now, we will get to that in a minute. Next to "Upload photo" click browse and find the images you want to upload on your hard drive , click on the file you once, then click "upload picture". Once it uploads, you may choose another image and another and so on. they must be uploaded one at a time and there are restrictions to how many you can have, currently it is set to 8 images (this will change in the future to a higher number).
Step #10: Once you have uploaded all of your images you can select which image you want to be listed in the directory of photographers or models, simply click "Set as profile picture" listed next to the photo you want.. (this will not change your avatar).
Step #11: The most important! Once you have done all of the above, click the link that says: "Send activation request." located above the upload photo box.
Step #12: Wait and be patient.. you have just sent a request to the Admin and the forum moderators to review your submission and make it active. It will not show up until it has been approved.
this is necessary or the entire forum would be inundated with Porn and ~censored~ ads..
Step #13: Make a post in the General Discussion Forum to just say "Hi" and give us a little info about yourself.. You do not need to wait for your Portfolio to go online in order to be able to post! But once your portfolio is activated, you should participate in discussions and also probably put a link to your portfolio in your signature for maximum exposure!
ALSO, In your control Panel, you should make sure this setting is set to "YES": Board Preferences--> Edit Posting Defaults--->Notify me upon replies by default:
If this is not set to "Yes" you may not know if someone is interested in a post or Job Offer.
Once your portfolio is approved, you will see a new tab in your profile labeled "Adult Portfolio", PLEASE DO NOT USE THAT until the entire forum as a group have decided it is appropriate for this site. In addition, with the current setup, if you use it, it may cause your regular portfolio to go offline.

PLEASE NOTE: If after your portfolio is online, and you decide to edit anything at all, you must resend an Activation Request again. Your portfolio will be totally offline until it is re-approved. This is to prevent spammers who bait and switch by putting up an account that looks legit to begin with, and then swap out the information with spam or porn at a later time.
